The EN 1092-1 Type 13 Threaded Flange has internal Rp (parallel pipe thread) or Rc (tapered pipe thread) threads per ISO 7-1. The pipe with an external thread is screwed directly into the flange bore, eliminating the need for welding. This makes it ideal for applications where welding is not permitted or practical — such as explosive atmospheres, field installations, or thin-walled pipes.
